Good Morning! Hope everyone is enjoying their Summer. It's been raining a lot here in Southwestern Ontario, Canada. Tomorrow we celebrate Canada's Day! I'm hoping it turns out to be a nice day, my fingers are crossed : ) Here are some great layouts that caught my eye in the last week. I hope they inspire you as well. Have a Great Week! - Tara
This first layout is by cderousseau: I love her design and the way she arranged her elements to create such a beautiful layout about her Mom.
This next layout is by amandaresende: Her photo is so adorable, I like the way she used the same photo more then once and I love the blue and the way she has the tiny photos framed and falling down the page. Great choice of elements.
Layout is by crystalbella77: Love the design and the colours are perfect the way the pop off the page against the creamy brown background.
Layout is by Peppermint: Love her design and the monochromic feel. The photo rocks and I really like the cluster of elements behind her photo.
Layout is by my3hens: This layout just jumped out at me. Love the colours and her whimsical design.
Layout by Leeanne: I'm loving the white space and the way she framed her photo and how her photo pops off the page.

Want to WIN??
Want to win some Scrapbooking Fonts??? This week we will be giving away 1 Scrapbooking Font Bundle from my Etsy shop.
One winner will be chosen at random. So you want to know how to win? Join us in this weeks challenge!!
Challenge:
I was inspired by my good friend Erin who is a fantastic journaler to jot down some journaling first. It was an eye opening experience from someone who NEVER does this first, (sometimes not at all). I found that I told MUCH more of the story when I wasn't concerned with where I would "fit" it in. So, this weeks challenge may not be much of a challenge for you if you already do this first. But for those of you like me, who usually do it last, I hope it is as eye opening for you as it was for me.
1. Choose your event, subject or theme
2. Open a blank Document
3. JOURNAL first before adding any photos or elements or papers.
4. Build your page around the journaling or story!
5. SHARE it with us!!
And since I know it is summer, and people are busy...I'll give you another chance to win if you post our blog on your blog or facebook! Just link us up and I will add you into the drawing!!
*you do not HAVE to do both, one or the other, or BOTH for 2 chances to win!!
Deadline is Sunday at 6pm EST. Winner will be announced shortly afterward. HAVE FUN!!

Gallery Inspiration
I got lots of great feedback last week that you all loved this idea, so I thought I would do it again since every time I go to a gallery I can find something that inspires me. So here goes...
Jennifer's photography is always amazing & no exception on this page. Check out those awesome tunnel photos! I have tried to capture Spencer in a tunnel at the park & they are no where near this good. Check out too how she pulled her colours directly from the photos - simple concept but gives the page so much impact! Artist: bluelemur01
Gotta love a fun page all about you here & there, this page is a whole lotta fun all on one page! I love the mesh, then the little bits tucked in here & there, the bright colours, the interesting cropped photos ... ya i love this one! Artist: t_a_l_i
I love the softness that the pink paper clipped to the clipping mask adds to this sweet page of that adorable little girl. And the painted edge frame the page nicely. Artist: jdcooper
I love how the photo blends perfectly into the paper & this colour scheme rocks! Check out that cluster in the upper corner too. Artist: lpate
I love how the strips of ribbons create an interesting grid here - gotta try this sometime! And I think we can all relate to the meaning behind the page! Artist: shades of bliss
I love the small photos of the neat textures & how cool is that brushwork, plus the words blended into the background too. Very cool page indeed. Artist: GoingtotheSun
Oh a brand new baby boy! Love the way she added just a splash of patterned paper here. Artist: nmartin1
I am pretty sure she used lightroom to get that cool effect on the photo. Love the bold graphic title here, lots of impact for the strong message for that little man. Artist: Aino

Gallery Inspiration from DD
Have you heard of Gallery Standouts? I love pulling up that site to see what inspiration is out there from so many of the talented scrappers. So I thought tonight I would spend a few minutes gathering up some inspiration for you from the Designer Digitals Gallery & telling you why I think the pages rock! All images are clickable back to the page in the gallery for credit list.
I really love the photo here - check out that amazing reflection! It adds such an awesome depth to the page. Artist: hguenthe
Yup those photos are so stinkin' adorable, but check out the elements arranged perfectly around them hung on a handy string. Artist: echogirl
The layers of elements add so much interest with those sweet photos of that little man! Great composition too. Artist: nativescrapper
We all hide behind the camera or pass over the photos of us with our kids, but Heidi reminded me with this page that it is important. I love the colours here too - beautiful!! Artist: Heidi2008
I just love the blending here & that close-up photo of those hands is beautiful. The border adds a strong contrast & pulls it all together. Artist: Joey_M
Take some time to read the journaling on this one. A real life moment captured forever right there on a scrapbook page. Isn't that what scrapping is all about? Artist: cderousseau
Check out the soft monotone brushwork mixed with elements here against the bright, beautiful floral photos all lined up in a rainbow! Stunning! This is part of a double pager, so be sure to check out the matching one too. Artist: digibug77
I love the bit of striped paper along the two edges & the mix of brushwork adds a nice backdrop to the photo/paper grouping. Artist: BrittanyLane
Enjoy the bit of random inspiration today! - kayleigh

As for this weeks challenge, let's learn a bit about eachother. Do an AAM (all about me) page. And to mix it up a bit tell us about you right now. What music are you listening to, what car do you drive, what's your favorite food, etc. You can pick one thing or give us a list. These will be fun to look at in 5-10-15-25 years! Can't wait to see your pages!!
