Hi Everyone! Hope everyone is having a great week. On Thursday my baby is 5 months old. I can't believe it, were does the time go. Pretty soon she will be off to school LOL! It's true what people say, you have to cherish every moment; because she is changing everyday. She is such an angel. I feel very blessed. : ) Okay, today's inspiration comes from Angela a.k.a pixiedust. I just love her design. I love the way her layout has so much white space but she still has a ton of elements that captures your attention. Love the sweet photo. Now I did feature this layout earlier in our Gallery Inspiration, but I loved it so much I had to lift it : ) Thanks Angela for the inspiration today : ) Don't forget to link us to your pages, I can't wait to see what you come up with. - Tara

Creative Challenge #43
For this weeks challenge I am daring you to try out a new technique or revisit it again if you already know how to do this. Cassie Jones writes fantastic tutorials for Designer Digitals full of easy to follow & amazing techniques. You can find all 43 of them in the store here: Cassie's Tutorials.
The one that I am challenging you to try out is this one for this weeks challenge.
"This mini lesson walks you through the steps for weaving a string element through a title created with a dimensional alpha. The techniques discussed can be applied to weaving any elements on a page, not just an alpha."
Here is the page I created using this tutorial on my title. (Can you believe my little girl is FIVE MONTHS already?!)
So jump in, have fun & link us to your page. - kayleigh

Gallery Inspiration
Hello! Kayleigh here this week to fill you in with some stunning pages from the gallery this past week. I'm sitting here in the kitchen with my warm mug of hot apple cider on this chilly October day. I can hear the wind blowing around outside & am so thankful for my moccasins! This week I am bringing you some inspiring fall pages. Enjoy!
I love this series of fall photos from Laura. She added just a bit of embellishments to accent her page nicely & how cool is that background paper from Anna? Well done Laura!
This page is just STUNNING by iUma - the blending, the adorable little girl & the stitching is the perfect touch. I am in total awe. Patricia was inspired by the page below, by shhbabymine.
Total masterpiece. This type of page amazes me because I just can't seem to do them. Passing along my pat on the back to you Sarah.
Heidi celebrated fall by creating this page about what she is thankful for, her beautiful family. Love the bits of paper & that cute pocket up in the corner. How about creating a page about what you are grateful for this fall?
How about this cool idea from Mel aka Britgirl - how about capturing your cold weather attire onto a page. Love the faded photo into the background here & the stitching on the one side to create a grouping. Nicely done Mel.
Or how about creating a mini book to capture what you are thankful for? Or how about completing a family road trip album like Sarah did here. Check out the shutterfly like she included by clicking on the below image.
Sarah used this mini book available in the designer digitals store right now. Layout design were created by Erin Clayton using Anna Aspnes's supplies. Very cool book indeed. The below image is linked to the store.
Check out these stunning photos by DebbieHodge! They just pop against the neutral background here & the worn edges around them are a great touch.
This little one in the Tigger outfit is adorable! Love the paper pieces here too & the title right on the photo is great. Well done DavesGirl!
Visiting a farm seems like a great fall thing to do & I love this page by sguiler. Check out the adorable photo of her tongue sticking out while she's driving the tractor. Cute eh?
I love what Deanie is doing with her 365 project & this page she posted is no exception. Stunning photos as usual with the great fall colours. Thanks for the inspiration Deanie!
Well my warm apple cider is gone & I am feeling inspired to scrap some fall photos now so I hope you are too! - kayleigh

Creative Challenge #42
Good afternoon everyone! Monday is here and today I have a fun challenge for everyone to do. I know we have done similar things in the past, but I thought it was time we do another page about ourselves. I went searching on the internet and I came across 40 things about me survey. I found this survey at myspace fun surveys.net. Here are the 40 questions. Now when you make your layout. you don't have to include all 40 questions, maybe pick 10 to 25, it's your choice. Don't forget to include a photo of yourself. I can't wait to learn more about you. Don't forget to link us to your layouts through the comments field. We can't wait to see your pages! Creative Challenge #41
Happy Monday everyone! Hopefully the sun is shining where you are in your part of the world. We are still in our jammies here … so it is a good Monday if you ask me! This is a good week for us (we pick my sister up from the airport on Friday!) after her month away in Australia. She has had a great time & can’t wait to see all her photos then hear all the stories behind them. She has missed Spencer & Makenna incredibly, more than the rest of us I think!
Here is the challenge for this week:
Create a page using only ONE designers products. You can use as many different products from that one designer as you like. Fun & a bit of a challenge to accomplish!
ETA: Here is my page that I did based on this challenge. Finally was able to finish it up tonight! :)
Link us up to your creation here in the comments field so we can all be inspired. And remember to have FUN.
Have a good week!
- kayleigh
