I just LOVE alphabet posters. They look so good in kids room's. There are a lot of cool ones out there to choose from You can even make your own. I'm in the middle of making one myself. Just trying to figure out my design. They are going to make the perfect gifts for friends and family. So today I thought I would share some alphabet posters with you. HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY!

I just wanted to wish my beautiful baby girl HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I can't believe she is ONE already. Where has the time gone. I've enjoyed my time with her. She has grown so much in the last month. Creative Challenge #51

My baby girl 'kenna turned one yesterday. We had a big party with lots of friends & family (including Tara & Addi), she got spoiled rotten & ate some icing, not much cake got in. We took so many photos between my FIL (grandpa paparazzi i call him) & my camera - over 350 photos. Oh gosh. How overwhelming is that? YIKES! That could be a whole book, not just a double pager for her 1st year book. Please wish me luck & stay tuned for the pages.


Today's challenge is a fun one (well aren't they all!?) I am challenging you to use a big symbol ... ie, & * ( } + = # @ ? < ... but you have to make it BIG on your page, see my example below where i used a big acrylic & symbol.

Copy Cat Challenge #54

Hello, Did everyone have a great weekend? We finally had some nice weather here and it was so nice to get outside and enjoy it. Today I bring you an all NEW Copy Cat Challenge. I'm totally loving all of Kelly's layouts a.k.a Emmasmom. I could lift every single one of them, but today I decided to lift this one entitled "Beach Baby". I love her design, soft colours and the cool way she did her title work. I hope you have just as much fun as I did lifting it. I can't wait to see what you guys come up with. Colour Inspiration No. 04

Today i bring you some inspiration with a fresh colour scheme to get your mojo going. I have been a huge fan of teal blue & limey green for ages (two of the colours in Makenna's room) so i thought it would be a great pallette.



Here is the page i posted earlier today. This new kit of Katie's is ADORABLE, its called On the Go & is coming this weekend to the store! I dug up these photos of Spencer so i could use this kit.


I pulled up some products in the designer digitals store that jumped into my mind when i thought of this colour scheme.

At first when i pulled this beauty of a thing up i thought it was a hair clip & thought that it was beautiful, but i couldn't see it in my hair ... but now i am realizing it is a magnet! I have to shop around some more at this store!

Good Morning! I hope everyone had a FABULOUS Mother's Day! I had a good one even though I was sick :( I hate being sick, but I guess it's better to be sick right now when the weather is crappy. Just want to fill you all in a little surprise we got in our email last week about Creative Inspiration Blog being featured amongst the '50 Best Blogs for Creative Thinking'. How cool is that?!

And i thought since every post needs a photo or something to look at i thought i would share a photo of our little girls playing together at a recent playdate Tara & I had at her place. That would be my Makenna stealing Addison's cracker. They are only two weeks apart in age!
