One Week Left!

Only one week left to finish up your layouts for the 12 Days Of Christmas Challenge. Everyone who completes all 12 Layouts will be entered in a draw to win a $10.00 Gift Certificate to DESIGNER DIGITALS. Create Your Own Font!!

We have all heard of doing this, but Bailey Stiegler (Starlite9711 over at DD) has started her own etsy shop where she will create one for you out of your very own writing!

It is a super simple process & very cool to see your own personal touch on a digital page. Here is a recent page that I used my font which I named XXL-Kayleigh W.

OK so now think outside the box with me here... how cool would it be to capture your child's writing in their own font & use it on pages? or how about your significant others. (I think I have my husband convinced to do his as well!) Or think about your grandmother's, or an elderly family member? It would be a priceless keepsake for generations to come. Happy New Year Everyone!

Hi Everyone, I know it's been a while and I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and Happy New Year. I can't believe it feels like Christmas was so long ago. I won't be sad if time flies by fast in the next couple of months, I'm really not a winter fan. I look forward to the warm weather.

For those who don't already know the reason why I haven't been that creative before Christmas was that I'm EXPECTING! My Husband and I are so looking forward to our first child; which we should be meeting sometime in June. My expected due date is June 8th. So both Kayleigh and I are expecting little ones. We are about three weeks apart and excited! :) Here are some pages I have been working on:

12 Day Of Christmas Challenge

Scrap a page using your family photo that you've taken by your Christmas tree. If you haven't in the past, try taking one this year. You can even include your furry friends, if you can get them to sit still. : ) Only one photo for this page. Let the photo inspire the rest of your layout. Remember everyone you have until January 31st to complete all 12 or more pages. And don't forget we will have random prizes for those who finish all the challenges. Scrap a page about the events that happened on Christmas morning. Was your morning filled with opening gifts with excited kids? Or a casual low-key day with a loved one? Do you have other family events to get to? Do you have a traditional Christmas breakfast? Did something funny happen today? For journaling perhaps make a list of the events or memorable moments. - kayleigh

10th Day Of Christmas Challenge

Of course we have to scrap our Family get together through out the holidays. Include Family photos and moments throughout the day. Why not write about a funny experience, or something you will remember forever about that event. You can definitely scrap more then one page. Do you attend your Family get together on the same day every year or do you have to coordinate with the Families every year to find out when you can get together. Here is a page I did last year about a funny moment at one of my Family events. - Tara

Scrap a page about your holiday cards. Do you make your own by hand, buy them or make them digitally & get them printed? If you make your own cards digitally - you could create a page around your card. What about the cards you get from others - do they end up in a pile or do they have a special spot in your home to get displayed? - kayleigh

8th Day Of Christmas Challenge

Scrap a page or two on your holiday baking. Do you holiday bake and if so what do you bake. Do make the same things every year or do you like to change it up. Take pictures while you bake, capture the details. Every year Doug and I bake ginger bread & sugar cookies. We also like to make Christmas bark which is just white chocolate and candy canes. YUMMY! Scrap a page capturing your decorations around the house. Maybe feature your favorite ones. Scrap this page by using many photos like little snippets of the details of your holiday decorating. Check out site like Better Homes & Gardens & Martha Stewart for great holiday decorating. Here is a great template that would work well to showcase your holiday decorating.
