12 Day Of Christmas Challenge

Scrap a page using your family photo that you've taken by your Christmas tree. If you haven't in the past, try taking one this year. You can even include your furry friends, if you can get them to sit still. : ) Only one photo for this page. Let the photo inspire the rest of your layout. Remember everyone you have until January 31st to complete all 12 or more pages. And don't forget we will have random prizes for those who finish all the challenges. 11th Day Of Christmas Challenge

Scrap a page about the events that happened on Christmas morning. Was your morning filled with opening gifts with excited kids? Or a casual low-key day with a loved one? Do you have other family events to get to? Do you have a traditional Christmas breakfast? Did something funny happen today? For journaling perhaps make a list of the events or memorable moments. - kayleigh

Look at all the photos Amber used on this double page spread:

10th Day Of Christmas Challenge

Of course we have to scrap our Family get together through out the holidays. Include Family photos and moments throughout the day. Why not write about a funny experience, or something you will remember forever about that event. You can definitely scrap more then one page. Do you attend your Family get together on the same day every year or do you have to coordinate with the Families every year to find out when you can get together. Here is a page I did last year about a funny moment at one of my Family events. - Tara

9th Day Of Christmas Challenge

Scrap a page about your holiday cards. Do you make your own by hand, buy them or make them digitally & get them printed? If you make your own cards digitally - you could create a page around your card. What about the cards you get from others - do they end up in a pile or do they have a special spot in your home to get displayed? - kayleigh

Scrap a page or two on your holiday baking. Do you holiday bake and if so what do you bake. Do make the same things every year or do you like to change it up. Take pictures while you bake, capture the details. Every year Doug and I bake ginger bread & sugar cookies. We also like to make Christmas bark which is just white chocolate and candy canes. YUMMY! Here is a layout I did last year of our holiday baking. Have fun! Don't forget to add your recipe to your layout. - Tara

2nd Day Of Christmas Challenge

Scrap a page about the wrapping of presents. Would you say you have your own style? Do all your presents have to match each other? Do you have other people wrap your gifts for you? Do you complete the package with matching bows & tags? Do you buy your wrapping supplies at the end of the holiday season when they are on sale after the holidays for the following year or do you buy it as you need it? Are you someone who uses newspaper or do you put everything in gift bags? Or do you just use whatever is available? Ist Day Of Christmas Challenge

Okay, so Kayleigh and I have decided we would do a 12 Days to Christmas Challenge. All challenges are based around Christmas. We hope these next 12 challenges inspire you to take photos and capture this holiday season. Every day for the next 12 days there will be a new challenge posted. Since this is a busy time of year you have until January 31st to finish all 12 Challenges. Some challenges may inspire you to do more the one page. After completing your challenges you will be on your way to finishing your Christmas album that you can get printed at Shutterfly. Everyone who finishes all 12 challenges will be entered to win PRIZES! Prizes will be announced at a later date. Don't forget to link us to your page in the comments field here on the blog. Please have each layout linked in the proper post. Have fun and we can't wait to see all your pages. Happy Scrapping. - Tara

1st Day Of Christmas
Scrap a page about the day you put up your Christmas Tree. Do you go and get a real one every year or do you put up an artificial one. What do you love about your tree. If you get a real one every year you can probably scrap a couple pages on this challenge. A shot of you at the tree farm picking out your tree and bringing it home. Include the price or the type of tree you get. What do you look for in finding the perfect tree. Another page can be on when you decorate your tree. Do you put on the same decorations every year or do you like to change it up. Remember to include close up pictures of your decorations on your tree. Maybe point out your favorite ones. Have fun and enjoy getting your tree or putting up your traditional tree.
