Trend: Clock Faces

Regret for wasted time is more wasted time. - Mason Cooley

I am self declaring that clocks are a trend well because I am addicted to them. I thought I would point out the fact that I love them to all of you ... in case you are looking for something to add to that page you just can't quite finish. We are all capturing a moment of time on a page, therefore a clock always goes! I like using a clock as part of a cluster.

This page that Tara did is using one of the new quick pages that I created using Katie's great stuff. The page also has clock on it! Shocking since it is one of my favourite elements right now.

And here are the quick pages if you want to check them out: December Memories Quick Pages No. 02

A couple of the clock sets that are available at Designer Digitals.
This is one of my favourite sets by Katie:

Love these clear ones by Pattie:

Love these Mod clocks by Anna:

This is a mega pack with paper & clocks!

Here is my sweet girlie Makenna ... time is just passing too quickly with her. She's already going to be 7 months tomorrow! Time flies!

This is one of my photo a day pages & i tucked one of Katie's clock parts into the pocket. A perfect accent for a page.

This is a page I used with Pattie's clear clocks. I like how they are clear so you can have other elements or brushwork show through. Or you could always use your own paper behind them to create the perfect matching accent for your page.

Here is another page that i used Pattie's clock on. The clock pack also comes with clock hands & the cool screw you see here.

Here is a page that Lisa used Pattie's clock on. The whole page is just darling!

I found this cute wall decal on etsy. Looks kina like Anna's style with her wordart. Love it!

I think this necklace is actually really cool! I would never have thought of a clock face as a pendant.

So hopefully you are inspired today by this post & try a clock on your page! Link us up if you do! - kayleigh

New Favorite Font!

Hi Everyone! How is everyone this fine Monday morning? Only 11 more days until Christmas. Are you ready? Today I wanted to share my new favorite font. I know I'm probably not alone when I say I'm obsessed with fonts. I have too many to count. Even though I have a ton of fonts I tend to gravitate to a few at a time. I found my new favorite font after seeing this layout by Katie Pertiet. Thanks Katie! The font is Pea Amy Rica Script which is a FREE FONT that you can download HERE. I would love to know your favorite font. Please let us know in the comments field and next week I will compile a list and post it. Have a great week! - Tara

Copy Cat Challenge #42

Hello my friends, it's Kayleigh! Remember the copy cat challenge?? I found this great page in the gallery yesterday then came across it again tonight when I was browsing the DesignerDigitals gallery & it just screamed to lift it! Thank you Angela (amcmillian) for the inspiration. I love the text softly in the background, the box around the grouping & the quote under the photo. How does this page inspire you?

Here is my page, went a little crazy with embellishments.

Gallery Inspiration

Hello! How is everyone doing! Only 17 more days until Christmas! Is everyone ready? I still have some shopping to do. I'm hoping to wrap it up this weekend. So I was wondering the other day how many people get real trees and if you do a different colour theme every year? We got our tree last Saturday and this year my colour theme is Red, Blue, White and Silver. My wrapping paper matches. I like to change it up every year. Today I'm bring you some Holiday Inspiration. I went looking through the galleries and I've picked a few of my favorites. Some of the layouts I found in my favorites folder from years gone by. I hope they inspire you to scrap your Holiday Memories. Have a great week. - Tara

They're Available!

For any of you that have said that you would like to buy my pages as quickpages ... YOU CAN!! That's right my friends! I was given the opportunity to design 10 Christmas pages including a shutterfly ready cover set using Katie Pertiet's stunning products!

It has been a huge learning curve, but I am really thrilled with the results & can't wait to see how you use them! You can add your own touch to the quickpages with adding your own journaling, extra elements, title, date & of course you just plop your photos in behind the page then call it done! This is a great way to scrap those photos that you still haven't scrapped from last year (or maybe the year before!) or be on top of your December Memories in 2009!

Here are just a couple of examples from the Creative Team that they created throughout this past week.
On this page Crissy turned the page on it's side, added a border & some wordart.

How cute is Bailey's little man Tanner here with his shy smile? Love what she did with this one.

This page is my favourite quickpage that I created & Tara just added this sweet photo of her cute little Addi & her hubby.

I love how Jodi used the bracket paper as a clipping mask for the quickpage, then added journaling & a cool title.

I love how Shanah added a couple extras.

Be sure to check out the team gallery at DesignerDigitals to see lots of examples! - kayleigh
